Myrecit Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Myrecit, a receipt management platform that allows you to generate, capture, store, and organize your receipts. By accessing or using the Myrecit app (the “App”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Myrecit, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any future amendments or updates. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms regularly to stay informed of any updates.

2. Use of the App

Myrecit provides users with the ability to generate and capture digital receipts, store receipts in the cloud, and access analytics related to purchase behavior (if applicable). You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use Myrecit. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use the App.

• Account Registration: To use certain features of Myrecit, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to update your details as necessary.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Myrecit, you agree not to:

• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.

• Engage in any activity that may disrupt or impair the App’s operation, including the use of viruses or other harmful code.

• Share your account credentials with others or permit anyone else to access your account.

• Upload or submit any content that violates intellectual property rights or contains offensive, defamatory, or harmful material.

4. Privacy and Data Collection

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Receipt Information

• Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the receipts and any associated data you upload to the App. However, by uploading receipts, you grant Myrecit a license to store, process, and use the data as necessary to provide the App’s services.

• Accuracy of Data: You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any receipts or other data you upload. Myrecit is not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in the data you submit.

6. Third-Party Services and Integrations

The App may integrate with third-party services, such as point of sale systems, online accounting applications, e-commerce platforms and any checkout with reciting capability, or other platforms that enhance the functionality of the app. By using these integrations, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions of the third-party services, and acknowledge that Myrecit is not responsible for the actions or privacy practices of these third parties.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, including encryption and secure cloud storage. However, we cannot guarantee complete security of your data, and you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with storing data online. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and personal information.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the App. You may also terminate your account by contacting us or through the account settings in the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Myrecit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, resulting from your use or inability to use the App.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as-is” basis, and Myrecit makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the functionality, reliability, or availability of the App. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements or that it will be error-free.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Myrecit, its affiliates, employees, agents, and contractors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law
